Which Road in Studio City Needs a Speed Bump?
We asked Patch readers on Facebook what streets they thought needed a speed bump. Find out what your neighbors told us.

STUDIO CITY, CA - Over 9,000 fatalities occurred nationally during 2014 due to speeding according to the latest statistics from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The data also shows a correlation between a driver’s age and the likelihood of a speed-related accident. As the age of a driver increases, their risk of being in an accident decreases. Men are also more likely to be at the wheel during a speeding accident, according to the study.
While the number of speed-related fatalities have continually decreased since 2005, speeding still remains an issue in many of our Patch communities, including Studio City. Readers suggested everything from increased police presence to more stop signs to building less housing to keep traffic at bay.

- "Kling St. between Whitsett and Coldwater."
- "Specifically Kling and Goodland. There are stop signs at all of the intersections along Kling between Coldwater and Whitsett EXCEPT at Goodland and Goodland is the closest intersection to the 101 entrance. Cars speed at 40 mph down the street, using it as a thoroughfare because of the traffic on the 101. A 3 year old was recently hit by a car at this intersection. Please help us get this speed bump!"
- "Dilling. Between Tunjunga and Troost."
- "Laurelwood Dr., Carpenter."
- "Kling St. between Whitsett and Coldwater needs a missing stop sign and 6 speed bumps. I am a resident and believe it is the most dangerous street in the neighborhood due to the fact that it runs parallel to the 101 and people speed 50 mph as a short cut daily. Please help us and give a name to to reach out to. I have signatures for the neighborhood."
