What a great turn out we had at Sunday's Site Evaluation & Design Workshop! Neighbors got together and measured and plotted our Studio City home. We then looked at the current irrigation, turning on the sprinklers and hosing the roof to see what happens to water on the property. We found lots of opportunity to capture water, especially from the gutters. Neighbors were amazed to see how much water a small rainstorm throws out through gutters and how much water doesn't hit the lawn when the sprinklers aren't adjusted properly.
This Sunday will be just as exciting as we tear up a neighbor's lawn and build some healthy soil and grade for rainwater capture!
