1 Dead In Fairfield Shooting: Police
BREAKING: Witnesses said the victim and at least one other person exchanged gunfire, police say.
SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- An adult male who was found shot Wednesday morning in Fairfield died of his injuries at a trauma center, police said. Police responded at 9:08 a.m. to reports of a shooting in the 2200 block of Peach Tree Drive -- off Air Base Parkway -- and found the victim on a sidewalk.
Witnesses said the victim and at least one other person exchanged gunfire, police said.
As an investigation into the shooting and homicide was under way Wednesday, the public was asked to the avoid the area.
