3 Arrested In Fairfield When Loaded Gun Found In Car: Police
BREAKING: Police had responded to help a woman who said her ex-boyfriend was harassing her.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Fairfield police arrested three people Tuesday for allegedly possessing a loaded handgun. At 10:30 p.m., a citizen requested an officer to escort her into her home in the 1400 block of Michigan Street. She explained that she feared for her safety because her ex-boyfriend had been harassing her, police said.
An officer agreed and went to her house, police said. When the officer arrived at the house, he found a vehicle parked in front. Inside were three people who appeared nervous and displayed suspicious behavior when the officer asked them why they were there, police said.
During the investigation, the officer found a loaded Smith & Wesson handgun with an extended magazine inside the car, police alleged.
