5 Arrested At Suisun City Walmart During Shoplifting Operation
The enforcement targeting shoplifters was a collaboration between Walmart and police.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – Five people were arrested at a Walmart store in Suisun City on Friday by plainclothes police officers conducting a shoplifting enforcement operation.
Officers, with help from store-loss prevention employees, conducted the operation at the Walmart Supercenter store at 350 Walters Road.
"Plain-clothes police officers and loss-prevention staff were strategically deployed in the store and the immediate area," police said.

David Faulkenberry, a 28-year-old transient, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy, violation of post-release community supervision, petty theft and possession of burglary tools and a controlled substance, police said.
Antoinette Florez, 30, of Vacaville and 30-year-old Jeffrey Phillips of Sacramento were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy and petty theft.

Two other people were also arrested on suspicion of petty theft, police said, but did not release their names.
According to police, retail theft and shoplifting are crimes could impact all consumers through higher prices.
Police also said they would continue to work collaboratively with Walmart to deter theft through a variety of enforcement and prevention strategies.
"Retail theft and shoplifting are crimes that impact all consumers through higher prices," Suisun City police said. "We will continue to work collaboratively with Walmart to target those who commit theft through a variety of enforcement and prevention strategies."
