Accident Involving Fairfield Cop Shuts Eastbound Air Base Parkway Tonight

A long portion of Air Base Parkway shut down in Fairfield this evening after a vehicle collision involving a police officer.

The traffic collision involving a Fairfield police officer happened around 4 p.m. on eastbound Air Base Parkway.

The eastbound lanes of the roadway are shut down for a mile-long stretch from Heath Drive to Dover Avenue, according to police.
