Police in Fairfield this afternoon have located a missing man.

UPDATE 3:00PM-

FAIRFIELD - A man who went missing in Redwood City was found safe Friday afternoon at a Fairfield motel, police said.

Jerry Stephens was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

Police announced around 2:20 p.m. that the man was found.

Stephens was last seen in Fairfield Thursday and was considered at-risk due to a medical condition.

FAIRFIELD - Police in Fairfield this morning are looking for the public's help in locating a missing man.

Police said Jerry Stephens was reported missing in Redwood City but was last seen in Fairfield on Thursday.

He is described as a white man, 5 feet 10 inches tall and with a thin build.

He was last seen wearing a black and white plaid jacket, gray shirt, dark blue jeans and a black or gray backpack.

Police said Stephens may be in the area of the Octo Soccer Complex off of Woodcreek Drive or in the area of the Grizzly Island Wildlife Area in Solano County.

Police said Stephens is considered at-risk due to a medical condition.

Police advise anyone who comes into contact with Stephens to contact law enforcement and not to approach him.
