Alleged Fairfield Burglar Arrested Within Hours: Police

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- A suspect in a Fairfield burglary Monday was soon arrested, according to police. The alleged burglary was reported at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the 2400 block of Cabrillo Drive when a homeowner called police to report an issue with her alarm system, Fairfield police said.

Officers responded to conduct a security check on the residence and upon reviewing surveillance footage showing a male suspect in the home, recognized the alleged burglar as 25-year-old Fairfield resident Jorge Valdovinos, police said.

At 3 p.m. Monday, an officer saw Valdovinos at a local park and arrested him without incident on suspicion of burglary and violation of probation, police said.
