Alleged Thief Broke Into Car, Stole Gun: Fairfield Police
BREAKING: Anyone who recognizes the suspect or his car is asked to call the police.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Police are asking for the public's help to find a suspect who allegedly broke into a parked vehicle in Fairfield on Wednesday evening and took a firearm. Investigators determined that sometime between 6:20 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., a suspect broke into a car parked in a parking lot of a shopping
center, located at 1750 Travis Blvd., police said.
After taking the firearm, the suspect left in a vehicle. The incident was caught on surveillance video.
The suspect is described a light-skinned black man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin to medium build and a black beard. He was wearing a white shirt, a gray zip-up hoodie, dark jeans, black shoes and a red hat.

The vehicle he left in was described as a white 2016-2018 Chrysler 300S with tinted rear windows.



Anyone who has information about the theft is asked to contact police at (707) 428-7300, the tip line at (707) 428-7345 or Solano County Crime Stoppers at (707) 644-7867. Tips can also be sent via text to 888777 with "FAIRFIELDPD" at the beginning of the message. Tipsters have the option of remaining anonymous.
