A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for a 6-month-old girl abducted from Santa Barbara on Sunday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Santa Barbara police believe 28-year-old Joshua Ivan Martinez took Nayeli Martinez around 9 p.m. Sunday, CHP officials said.

Nayeli is described as a Hispanic girl with black hair and brown eyes.
Joshua Ivan Martinez is described as a Hispanic man standing about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 187 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen driving a 2013 black Ford Focus with a temporary dealer license plate that reads “Garcia Auto Sales,” according to the CHP.
