Apartment Fire Knocked Down In Solano County

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – Fairfield firefighters responded to a fire in an apartment this afternoon.

Fairfield Deputy Fire Chief Jorge Merodio said the fire that started around 1 p.m. in the apartment in the 1000 block of Broadway Street was out before firefighters arrived.

The tenant was not injured and has found other housing until power is restored to the apartment, Merodio said.
