Become a Commissioner, Partner Up For Better Local Produce, and Find Some Merriment

1. Applicants Sought for Suisun City Commissioners: Suisun City is in search of residents interested in serving on the City's Planning Commission and the Parks and Recreation Commission. Applications will be accepted at the City Clerk's Office in City Hall until 6 p.m., Thursday Dec. 23, 2010. For more information click here.

2. City Hall Open later on Tuesdays: City Hall will be open an hour later today, and every Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Regular hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed on Fridays.  For more information on City Hall services, visit their website.

3. Girls Soccer at Crystal: Crystal Middle School offers indoor soccer instruction and play to girls between sixth and eigth grades. Practices are weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 3:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. The cost for participation is $50. Crystal Middle School is located at 400 Whispering Bay Lane, Suisun City. 4. Solano Grown Community Event: Solano Grown is interested in a new partnership between farmers and ranchers committed to producing and marketing an array of high quality products in Solano County. 5. Merriment on Main: The City of Vacaville are joined with downtown merchants to kick of the holiday season in this free outdoor event from 5:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in downtown Vacaville.  This event will take place at Main Street & Dobbins Street, Vacaville, CA 95688.
