Big-Rig Crash Blocks I-80 Ramp In Vacaville: Traffic Advisory
Breaking: A SigAlert was issued for the area early Monday afternoon.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- A Vacaville freeway ramp was blocked Monday afternoon at the scene of a traffic collision involving a big rig, the California Highway Patrol reported. The incident was reported about 11 a.m. at the Davis Street ramp to eastbound Interstate Highway 80, and as of 7:30 p.m. Monday, the freeway ramp remained closed in both directions.
CHP reported that an ambulance responded to the scene of the crash, where a big rig was overturned and was leaking some type of oil -- possibly sunflower or vegetable oil.
A SigAlert was issued just after 11:30 a.m., according to CHP.

Initially, Caltrans estimated the on- and off-ramps would remain closed until 6:30 p.m. Monday, but the timeframe for reopening the freeway ramps was adjusted to 2 a.m. Tuesday.
