Big-Rig Crash Closes Hwy 12 Between Fairfield, Rio Vista
The truck crashed into the center divider shortly before 8 p.m.

A big-rig crashed into the center divider on state Highway 12 in Solano County has closed westbound lanes between Rio Vista and Fairfield, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers responded to a report of a big-rig carrying a trailer that crashed into the center divider on westbound Highway 12 just west of Denverton Road shortly before 8 p.m., CHP officials said.
Caltrans has been called to the scene where there was significant damage to the center divider and guardrails, CHP Officer Peter Van Eckhardt said.

No fluid or load spilled on the roadway, he said. Officers are diverting traffic around the incident, Van Eckhardt said. No injuries were reported, according to the CHP.
A Sig-alert was issued at 8:31 p.m. and there is no estimated time of when lanes will reopen, CHP officials said.
