Body Found in Golf Course Pond Identified

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- The Solano County coroner's office has identified a man who was recently found dead at a golf course as 62-year-old Jerald Fleshman of Vacaville.

Fleshman's body was found around 1 p.m. Jan. 5 in a pond at the Cypress Lakes Golf Course, at 5601 Meridian Road in unincorporated Solano County southeast of Vacaville, according to the Solano County Sheriff's Office.

Fleshman was golfing by himself when he died, sheriff's Deputy Christine Castillo said.

Foul play is not suspected in the death, the Sheriff's Office said, but no information was available regarding any existing medical condition or medical episode he might have suffered.
