Caltrans Closing Jameson Canyon Overnight This Week
Caltrans will be relocating underground utilities.

Caltrans is closing state Highway 12 through Jameson Canyon in
Solano and Napa counties overnight this week to relocate underground
utilities in advance of widening the highway.
The road will be closed between state Highway 29 in Napa County
and Red Top Road in Solano County between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. starting today
and ending Saturday.
Motorists on eastbound Highway 12 are advised to use southbound
Highway 29 to eastbound state Highway 37 to eastbound Interstate Highway 80
as a detour.
Westbound Highway 12 motorists should use westbound Highway 80 to
westbound Highway 37 to northbound Highway 29.
Local access is available for Jameson Canyon residents and
emergency vehicles only.
The California Highway Patrol will help direct motorists who are
advised to allow extra travel time. Caltrans also will install changeable
message signs.
