Child Injured After Fall From Window In Vacaville

A 2-year-old child possibly suffered a broken ankle this morning when he fell out of a second-story window while playing with his brother, City of Vacaville spokesman Mark Mazzaferro said.

The child fell through the window screen and was taken to the UC Davis Medical Center, Mazzaferro said. There were no other obvious injuries, he said.

The incident happened around 9:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of Tocia Avenue in east Vacaville, according to a posting on the Solano Firefighters Facebook page.
