City Council, Governing Board And Spanish Storytime

1. Needleworks and More: Every Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., seniors can bring their needlework projects and supplies out to the Suisun City Senior Center for a time to share their work and techniques with other knitters, crocheters, and needlepointers. The cost of each session is $1. The Suisun City Senior Center is located at 318 Merganser Dr., Suisun City, CA 94585. For more information, call 707-421-7203.

2. Amiguitos Hora de Cuentos: Suisun City Library  offers Amiguitos Hora de Cuentos (Little Friends Spanish Storytime), a time for kids of all ages to sit in and listen to stories and sing songs in Spanish. This event occurs every Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Suisun City Library is located at 601 Pintail, Suisun City.

3. Special School Board Meeting: The Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District  will hold a special meeting tonight to discuss reducing the total number of school board members from seven to five. To view the agenda, click here.  The meeting starts at 5:00 p.m. and will be held at 2490 Hilborn Rd., Fairfield.

4. City Council Meeting: The City Council will be having a regular meeting tonight to begin at 7:00 p.m. To view the agenda, click here. The meeting will be held at 701 Civic Center Blvd., Suisun City.

5. Indoor Soccer:  Crystal Middle School gives young girls and boys the opportunity to play indoor soccer and learn the basics of the sport. Classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday at Crystal Middle School from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for children ages 3 to 6 and from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for children ages 7 to 9.
