Coming Up In Suisun City: Senior Scam Stopper Workshop

A Senior Scam Stopper seminar, sponsored by Assemblymember Jim Frazier, D-Solano, in conjunction with the Contractors State License Board, will be offered from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday, March 26, at the Suisun Senior Center, 318 Merganser Drive in Suisun City.

The workshop is open to seniors, their families and caretakers. A panel of experts from several state agencies will provide information about how to avoid becoming victims of various types of fraud – financial, telephone, health, home repair, identity theft and more.

Experts also will be available to answer questions and offer assistance to seniors who may have been scammed. Coffee and snacks will be provided. The event is free, but reservations are encouraged.
