Convicted Felon Arrested In Solano
Raul Angulo, 31, was arrested after fleeing from officers on his bike, police said.

FAIRFIELD, CA -- A 31-year-old convicted felon was arrested on suspicion of possessing a loaded and stolen firearm early Friday morning, according to Fairfield police. Police said Raul Angulo, 31, was arrested after fleeing from officers on his bike and hiding behind a business around 4:10 a.m. Friday.
According to police, officers were finishing a traffic stop early Friday morning when they noticed Angulo was riding his bike on the sidewalk without a helmet on. The officers, police said, noticed that Angulo was looking behind him and peddling quickly.
Angulo fled after police tried to stop him, but he was found hiding behind a vehicle at the business that was closed in the 1900 block of North Texas Street and taken into custody, police said.

The firearm, reported stolen out of Stockton, was found near where Angulo was hiding.
Angulo has been booked into the Solano County Jail.
