Coroner IDs Elderly Pedestrian Killed This Morning
The woman was an 80-year-old Fairfield resident.

The Solano County coroner’s office has identified the woman who was killed early this morning when she was struck by a vehicle while crossing Clay Bank Road in Fairfield as 80-year-old Reola Henderson of Fairfield.
Henderson suffered major injuries and was taken to the NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield where she was pronounced dead at 6:33 a.m., Fairfield police said. Henderson was walking east on Meadowlark Drive around 5:55 a.m., police said.
She was hit while crossing Clay Bank Road by a northbound vehicle, police said.

The driver stopped and cooperated with the investigation, police said.
Alcohol and other impairments are not suspected as the cause of the collision, police said.
