Customer, Upset That His Order Was Made Wrong, is Arrested After Reaching Into Cash Register
Ronald Rantasuo, 29, of Suisun City, is charged with attempted robbery and felony vandalism.

SUISUN CITY, CA -- A man who was irate that his fast food order was made wrong and then tried to reach in the cash register to get his money back has been arrested.
At about 11:30 am on Jan. 27, officers were dispatched to Del Taco on Sunset Avenue for a physical altercation. Upon arrival, they discovered a customer had become upset over his taco being made wrong and demanded his money back.
The customer threatened the employees that if he didn't get his money back then he would get it himself. The customer attempted to grab the cash register, but was pushed away by employees who told him they were calling the police. The suspect pushed the employees and slapped a cell phone out of an employee’s hand, causing it to fall on the ground and shatter, then fled the scene.

A photo of the suspect was sent out to all Suisun City police officers to identify the suspect. The subject was identified and a photo lineup shown to employees positively confirmed the suspect as Ronald Rantasuo, 29, of Suisun City.
Rantasuo was located on the 500 block of Rio Verde Ln and was placed under arrest. Rantasuo was booked in Solano County Jail on charges of attempted robbery, felony vandalism, and obstructing a wireless device.
