Date Pegged For Social Security Breakdown

The Social Security office in Suisun City is a bustling place, drawing a sometimes confused and lost client from different areas of Solano County, trying to figure out where the office is.

But the future of the Social Security program is in doubt now, mostly due to the poor economy and higher then normal gas prices.

According to the Associated Press, a new report shows that full payments to beneficiaries could end in 2033 if something isn't done soon to curb costs to the program.

That requires a Congress that can act swiftly and wisely to save the program.
