Earthquake Felt In Bay Area Friday Morning

Here's what the U.S. Geological Survey has to say about the earthquake.

SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CA — An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude reading of 3.1 was felt Friday morning in the Bay Area.

The quake was reported at 8:37 a.m. and the epicenter was 8 miles north of Pittsburg in the Solano County city of Rio Vista, according to a United States Geological Survey Shake Map.
