Earthquake Hits Solano County
The quake struck Thursday morning not far from Suisun City and Fairfield — did YOU feel it?
SOLANO COUNTY, CA — A 2.9-magnitude earthquake struck Thursday morning near Suisun City, according to the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The quake, recorded at 10:01 a.m., was centered about 9 miles east-southeast of Suisun City, 10 miles east-southeast of Fairfield and about 9 miles west-northwest of Rio Vista.
The earthquake struck at a depth of 12 miles, according to the USGS.
