The Family Fun Field Day and Walkathon is a public event being held at Sam Geopp Park, adjacent to Dan O. Root Elementary, hosted by the Dan O. Root PTO to promote healthy living. There will be many FREE sports activities, demonstrations, face painting, and a jump house as well as a rock wall($3/climb), inflatable obstacle course ($1/run), a live DJ, and MORE!
Subway sandwiches and Jamba Juice smoothies will be available for purchase.
The Walkathon is a fundraiser open to Dan O. Root families. There are many prizes to be won for both pledges received and laps walked, including two bicycles donated by the soon-to-open Salvation Army KROC Center in Suisun that will go to the top two walkers!
