SOLANO COUNTY, CA — A months-long investigation into a Fairfield man's suspected involvement with uploading and sharing of child pornography ended this week with the 34-year-old's arrest, Fairfield police said. Jeremy Marney was taken into custody Tuesday after a search warrant was served at his residence in the 100 block of Bel Air Circle, Fairfield police press information officer Kathryn McCormick stated in a news release.
"Several months ago Detective Pereira was alerted to the possible uploading and sharing of child pornography by Marney," McCormick said. "He began an investigation and determined that potential child pornography files were being uploaded from a residence on Bel Air Circle in Fairfield."
Several electronic items were seized during the service of the search warrant, McCormick said.
