Fairfield Man Arrested In Child Porn Investigation: Police

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- Police in Fairfield have arrested a man in connection with a child pornography case. Geno Hurtado, 31, of Fairfield, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of possession of child pornography.

The Fairfield Police Department's Electronic Crimes Unit was alerted several months ago to the possible download and sharing of child pornography, police said.

Investigators were able to determine child pornography files were being downloaded at a residence on El Toro Court.

Police served a search warrant at the residence, and several electronic items were seized.

Mass quantities of child explicit picture and video files were located during the search, police said.

Hurtado was arrested and booked into the Solano County Jail.
