Fairfield PAL announces move!

Teen Center will reopen this summer at 2250 North Texas Street.

After a great run at the Sullivan site, the PAL Teen Center is moving. The program will reopen this summer at 2250 North Texas Street, formally the Trading Post and before that Skateland Roller Rink.

Fairfield PAL opened in 2009 on 250 Travis Blvd before moving to the Sullivan location. The Fairfield PAL Teen Center uses the fun of traditional recreational programs to engage underserved teens and help build great qualities in members. PAL’s work affects the lives of the people we serve in six domains; traditional recreation, career development and planning, relationship building with local law enforcement, opportunities to build skills, leadership development, and health and wellness programing.

Fairfield PAL has served over 4000 teens and their families offering sports, health and wellness, academic, social and emotional skill building, financial literacy, leadership, career development, mentorship and more. PAL serves Fairfield, Suisun, and Travis teens who are placed at disproportionate risk of becoming disconnected from school, community, and family or have been traditionally underserved. Since opening in 2009, PAL has served an average of 63 teens each day, with the average length of participation being 2 hours and 56 minutes a day! 71% of PAL members qualify for free or reduced lunch.
