Fairfield PAL Teen Center Seeks Volunteers for Exciting Fall Programs

The Fairfield PAL Teen Center is excited to announce the launch of its vibrant programs and is actively seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help make these events a success. Volunteering with us offers an excellent opportunity to give back to the community, support local teens and families, and have a great time participating in a variety of engaging activities.

Fall Volunteer Opportunities:

3 on 3 Pick-Up Basketball League:

Referees: Ensure fair play and enforce rules during games.

Scorekeepers: Keep accurate game scores and records.

Announcers: Provide live commentary and keep the energy high.

Skate Nites:

Rink Guards: Ensure the safety of all skaters on the rink, help with contests and games, support our rookie rollers and help develop a love of skating among members.

Roller Skate Maintenance: Assist with skate rentals and upkeep of equipment.

BinGLOW Nights:

Bingo Callers: Host and call out bingo numbers, creating a lively atmosphere.

Karaoke Hosts: Facilitate karaoke sessions and singing games, encouraging participation and fun.

Churro Servers: Serve delicious churros to participants, adding a sweet treat to the night.

Arts and Crafts Instructors:

Guide teens through various creative projects, helping them develop new skills and express themselves artistically.

Baristas for Milk Steamers:

Prepare and serve warm milk steamers, providing a cozy refreshment for our teens.

Video Game Tournament Hosts:

Organize and oversee video game tournaments, ensuring a fun and competitive environment.

We invite community members to join our team of dedicated volunteers and help us create unforgettable experiences for our youth. Whether you’re passionate about sports, arts, or simply giving back, there’s a role for you at the Fairfield PAL Teen Center. As a youth serving organization, we are required to follow AB 506. There is a short process to become a PAL volunteer that includes Mandatory Reporter Training and a Department of Justice Background Check. All costs are covered by the program and the process is very easy.

ABOUT FAIRFIELD PAL

The Fairfield PAL Program is open to Fairfield, Suisun, and Travis Students ages 13-18 who are enrolled in school. Membership is FREE and can be applied for at the Fairfield Community Center (1000 Kentucky Street) with a current ID and parent / guardian signature. The facility is currently undergoing construction and programs are subject to change with little notice. Updates are made on social media as they become available.
