Fairfield Police Activity: SWAT Team On Hand As Warrant Served

Fairfield police officials said the city's SWAT team was on hand, and that loud noises may be heard.

FAIRFIELD, CA — Fairfield Police Department's SWAT team was assisting an outside agency serve a search warrant Tuesday morning. The police activity was on Woodmont Court, on the east side of the city, Fairfield police officials said in an advisory.

"There is no danger to the public, but loud noises such as PA announcements and distraction devices may be heard," officials said of the police activity near Air Base Parkway and Clay Bank Road.

"All persons of interest are in custody, and are being turned over to the investigating agency," officials said in the advisory first issued at about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.
