Fairfield Police Arrest Man Wanted In Idaho On Battery, Stalking Warrant

FAIRFIELD - Police arrested a 33-year-old man at a Fairfield home Thursday who was wanted in Idaho in connection with battery and stalking incidents.

Around 1:30 p.m., officers, with help from the U.S. Marshall Service, served a warrant for the arrest of Fairfield resident Scott Collinson in the 4900 block of Claremont Court, police said.

Collinson had an outstanding warrant for his arrest on suspicion of stalking and battery that was issued in Idaho, according to police.

Officers were able to contact Collinson inside the home and took him into custody without incident.

He was booked into the Solano County Jail and will be extradited to Idaho, police said.
