Fatal Freeway Crash Leads to Closure of Hwy 29 Near American Canyon
Authorities said they did not know when the highway would reopen.

At least one person died Saturday night on a State Highway 29 in American Canyon, according to California Highway Patrol officials.
Authorities closed the northbound lanes of the highway at Eucalyptus Drive at around 11:40 p.m., as they investigated the fatality, which happened near Donaldson Way.
The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is also investigating the incident, CHP officials said.

A Sig-alert was issued for the highway’s northbound lanes at 12:15 a.m. Authorities said they did not know when the highway would reopen.
