Fire At Suisun City 'Hoarder' House Ruled Arson, Officials Say

SUISUN CITY, CA — A house fire in Suisun City is being investigated as arson, officials with the Suisun City Fire Department said. The fire on Klamath Drive— off Walters Road and Pintail Drive — was reported at about 6:34 p.m. on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 2.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the home, prompting a second alarm.
"The fire has been ruled arson and is currently under further investigation," fire officials said. "One person was taken into police custody for interfering with the firefighters on scene."

Emergency personnel from Solano County Fire, Fairfield Fire, Vacaville Fire, Travis Air Force Base Fire, Suisun Fire District, Montezuma Fire District and Medic Ambulance either assisted at the scene or covered multiple calls in the city during the firefight.
The Fairfield Fire Department described the two-story home as a "hoarder house."

The Suisun City Police Department is investigating the fire alongside the city's fire department.
