FIRST BANK, TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE SHOW HOLIDAY SPIRIT

In a campaign that kicked off in October, First Bank’s Fairfield branch (2407 Waterman Blvd) along with Travis Air Force Base recently wrapped up a successful Toys for Tots drive.

“We want to thank Travis Air Force Base as well as everyone in the community who took part in this warm and heartfelt campaign,” said Patrick Nygard, Vice President and Branch Manager, First Bank. “We had a terrific response and the gifts collected will ensure a brighter holiday season for many children.”

To wrap up the campaign and begin distribution of the gifts, senior airmen Darrell Osborne and Matthew Banks of Travis Air Force Base dropped by First Bank’s Fairfield location to pick up the toys.

Both First Bank and Travis Air Force Base served as collection locations during the drive as well as a many area businesses and stores.

About the Toys for Tots Mission The mission of the U.S. Marine Corp Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
