Ford Mustang Driver Going Over 100 MPH Arrested, Car Towed: PD
Police said the car will stay impounded for 30 days and the driver is responsible for all fees.

FAIRFIELD, CA — Fairfield police said a man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of reckless driving after a motor officer spotted him going over 100 mph in his Ford Mustang on Airbase Parkway. The driver, whose name was not disclosed, also had his Mustang towed from the scene and the car will stay impounded for 30 days, police said.
A Solano County judge granted the Fairfield Police Department a seizure warrant authorizing the extended impound period, police said.
"The owner of the vehicle, in this case the driver, is responsible for all towing, storage and administrative fees," police said. "This does not include any fines or fees imposed by the court for the reckless driving offense."
