Game on!

Fairfield PAL Teen Center Unleashes New 3-on-3 Pick-Up Basketball League.

Hoop dreams are about to get real at the Fairfield PAL Teen Center! We’re pumped to announce the return of our 3-on-3 Pick-Up Basketball League – a slam dunk opportunity for teens aged 13-18 to hit the court, showcase their skills, and dominate the competition. And the best part? It’s completely FREE!

Starting September 24th, every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the action heats up on the PAL Teen Center court. The league is all about fast breaks, clutch shots, and keeping the momentum alive – winners stay on, challengers step up.

No Cost, Just Game: This league is free for all Fairfield, Suisun, and Travis teens. A free PAL Teen Center membership is required, which you can snag at the Fairfield Community Center with a parent or guardian’s signature and a student I.D.

Game On, Rain or Shine: As long as the weather’s good, we’re balling! This league runs as long as Mother Nature cooperates, with each game going hard for 10 minutes.

Bring Your A-Game: Winners hold the court and keep playing, while new challengers try to knock them off. No time to rest – as soon as one game ends, the next one starts!

Points That Count: Score 2 points for buckets inside the arc and 3 points for draining it from downtown. First to win in a tiebreaker takes it all in sudden death overtime.

Medals & MVPs: Medals will be awarded to the MVPs and the squad that holds the court the longest – so bring your best game every night.

Why Drop In?

We wanted to create something where teens who have a passion for basketball can come compete and have fun,” says Des Wilbon, Recreation Specialist at the Fairfield PAL Teen Center. “You don’t need to commit to a full season or stress about making a team – just show up, grab some friends, and get ready to play. It’s all about unity, staying active, and giving everyone a chance to shine on the court.”

Who’s It For?

Whether you’re a seasoned baller or just love the game, this league is for you. Teams can have 3 players on the court and up to 2 subs. Play hard, play fair – sportsmanship is key. Defense calls the fouls, and the staff’s call is final. So, lace up and get ready to ball!

Stay in the Loop: While the PAL Teen Center is under construction, any last-minute schedule changes will be posted on social media. Follow us to stay updated and never miss a game.

Sign Up Today: Ready to hit the court? Get your free membership at the Fairfield Community Center and bring a parent or guardian to sign up. Once your team is locked in, no roster changes are allowed – so choose your squad wisely!

"We can't wait to see the energy and excitement this league will bring," adds Fatima Adeboye "It’s the perfect way to let loose after school, meet new friends, and maybe even take home a medal or two!"

Don’t miss your chance to own the court. Come ready, come hungry, and most of all, come to have fun!
