Grass Fire Breaks Out West Of Suisun City Train Station
City officials said the grass fire was not currently threatening any structures.

SUISUN CITY, CA — A grass fire broke out Tuesday afternoon west of the Suisun City train station on Webster Street, according to city officials.
As of 4:19 p.m., the fire — burning just north of Highway 12 near and east of Pennsylvania Avenue near the Fairfield-Suisun city limits — was not posing a threat to any structures but the city asked residents to please stay away from the area.
At least one helicopter was accessing a local basin to pick up water for putting out the fire, according to the city.

Suisun City police said in an update at 5:30 p.m. that the fire was still not threatening any structures. Winds were shifting toward Old Town, however, prompting police to advise residents in Old Town to close their doors and windows to avoid the smoke.
