He Caught a Fish a 16th of an Inch Too Small

When he hauled in his striped bass, Suisun City resident Richard Ashcroft thought he was a big winner in last weekend's Rio Vista Bass Derby, according to the Lodi News-Sentinel.

His bass was THIS BIG. Well, it was really slightly more than 35 inches. Turns out the winning bass was just one-sixteenth of an inch larger, according to the News-Sentinel article.
