
Firefighters extinguished a fire that caused an estimated $20,000 in damage at a house in Fairfield this morning, fire officials said. The blaze was reported at 6:39 a.m. at a home in the 1200 block of McKinley Street.
Firefighters found flames in a bedroom of the house and quickly extinguished them with no injuries reported, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
