Jameson Canyon Lane Closures Starting Thursday
Caltrans released information on Jameson Canyon lane closures.

Information from Caltrans:
Napa and Solano Counties – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), the Solano Transportation Authority (STA), and the Napa County Transportation and Planning Agency (NCTPA) will soon begin widening Highway 12 through Jameson Canyon in Napa and Solano Counties.
As the prep-work involving the installation of safety barriers, storm drain work, and continued lane striping move forward, some additional intermittent lane closures and one-way traffic controls starting at 10 p.m. Monday, May 7th will be necessary.
To ensure worker and public safety during the work, five nights of overnight intermittent lane closures are scheduled to start beginning on Monday, May 7th at 10 p.m. and be completed Saturday, May 12th at 6 a.m. All work is weather permitting.
Lane Closure Times and Locations
During intermittent lane closures, one lane of traffic on Highway 12-Jameson Canyon Road will be closed between Highway 29 and the Napa County Line.
The lane closures will start on Monday, May 7th at 10 p.m. and conclude on Saturday, May 12th at 6 a.m. From Monday, May 7th until Thursday, May 10th, the closures are scheduled to start at 10 p.m. each night and conclude each morning at 5 a.m. On Friday May 11th the lanes closures will start at 11p.m. and conclude the morning of Saturday, May 12th at 6 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol will help crews direct motorists during the lane closures. Caltrans will also install changeable message signs.
Motorists should allow for extra travel time. Local access is available for Jameson Canyon residents and emergency vehicles only.
