Man Arrested As Parking Lot Assault Suspect

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – A Fairfield man was arrested by police in connection with an assault of a man on Tuesday in a Fairfield parking lot -- a disagreement that reportedly began over a parking space.

The Fairfield Police Department said that on Sept. 13, a 64-year-old man was sitting in his vehicle in a business' lot on the 2700 block of North Texas Street when he was physically assaulted by the suspect after the dispute. The victim received minor injuries, police said.

With help from the community, detectives said they identified the suspect involved as Uri Green, 30. Green was interviewed and arrested, and the criminal case was referred to the Solano County District Attorney’s Office seeking prosecution.
