Man Hit, Killed By Big Rig On I-680
BREAKING: The CHP said the victim exited a car and ran in front of the truck near near Gold Hill Road in Fairfield.
SOALNO COUNTY, CA – The California Highway Patrol said a driver was killed after getting out of his vehicle and running in front of a big-rig in Fairfield this morning.
The incident was reported around 8:15 a.m. on Interstate Highway 680 at the Gold Hill Road on-ramp, according to the CHP.
A witness said the driver got out of a silver Ford and ran in front of a white truck with a 50-foot trailer, the CHP said.

The collision blocked the No. 2 lane of the highway, the CHP said.
