Is it too late for my child to get a flu shot this season?
My Answer: No, it is not too late at all. Though the flu season usually begins at the end of fall, its peak is February or March and the season itself could last through May. My son just got his second dose of the flu shot last week, and from everything that I can tell, there is more available this season than last.

Also note that many pharmacies offer flu shots even if you don’t have flu shots through medical coverage. has flu vaccines right now $24.99. The catch with that is your child must be over two years old.
