Motorcyclist Killed North Of Vacaville Is Identified

The Solano County coroner's office has identified a motorcyclist who was killed in a collision with a van north of Vacaville Tuesday night.

VACAVILLE - The Solano County coroner's office has identified a motorcyclist who was killed in a collision with a van north of Vacaville Tuesday night as Brian Robinson, 52, of Winters.

California Highway Patrol officials said Cyrus Canzoneri, 64, of Winthrop, Washington, was driving a 1986 Volkswagen Vanagon north on Tubbs Road south of Sweeney Road in unincorporated Solano County around 9 p.m. when he made a legal three-point turn to drive south on Tubbs Road.

Robinson was riding his 2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle north on Tubbs Road behind the Volkswagen.

Robinson was driving too fast to slow down for the van in the road and slid into the left side of it, according to the CHP.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Canzoneri was arrested on suspicion of DUI and was booked into Solano County Jail, CHP officials said.
