New Cafe Opening In Downtown Suisun

Choco Latte, a new cafe in Harbor Square, will serve coffee and food made from local vendors.

Jose Mendoza has worked for the city for 12 years, in charge of maintenance for downtown. Now he is chasing his dream.

"It's always been my dream to open a coffee shop," he said Monday morning.

Mendoza is subletting space from Eco-Delight Coffee, sharing part of the old Eco-Delight Cafe for Choco Latte, while Eco-Delight Coffee co-owner Guillermo Moran runs the coffee roaster for his wholesale clients.
