Nonprofits Chosen For Fireworks Sales

Three nonprofits won a lottery drawing to sell safe and sane fireworks in town.

Three local nonprofits are nearly set to sell so-called safe and sane fireworks in Suiusn City, netting themselves and the city hoped-for money to pay for their services and events downtown.

The three nonprofits chosen randomly for the city this morning are: The Suisun American Little League, The Suisun City Historic Waterfront Business Improvement District and the Solano Aquatic Sea Otters Swim Team.

If for some reason the nonporfits selected can't muster enough people to staff the booths or fall short for some other reason, the city generate a list of 10 other nonprofits, with Vikings Youth Football and Fairfield-Suisun Community Action Council next in line.
