One Dead, Three Injured In Suspected DUI Crash on Saturday Near Vacaville
The 23-year-old driver from Fairfield was arrested. A Fairfield man, 24, was declared dead at the scene.

The Solano County coroner’s office has identified the victim of a suspected DUI-related crash early Saturday morning as 24-year-old John Snyder Jr. of Fairfield.
Snyder was one of four occupants in a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that was traveling west on Vaca Valley Parkway around 2 a.m. Saturday, Vacaville police Lt. Mark Donaldson said.
The driver, Gary Scott Woodgate, 23, of Fairfield, lost control of the truck as it approached the Interstate Highway 505 overpass, Donaldson said.

The truck began to roll before leaving the freeway overpass and coming to rest on its side in a field below, Donaldson said.
Snyder suffered major head trauma when he was ejected from the truck and was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:08 a.m., according to Donaldson.

Woodgate was allegedly determined to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
He suffered injuries that were serious but not considered life-threatening and was taken to Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Vacaville, Donaldson said.
Two other passengers, both 22-year-old Fairfield residents, suffered broken bones, lacerations and bruises and also were taken to the hospital, Donaldson said.
A portion of Vaca Valley Parkway between the Highway 505 southbound on- and off-ramps and New Horizon Way were closed during the six-hour investigation into the crash, Donaldson said.
Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the collision, the lieutenant said.
