PHOTO GALLERY: Lawler House Launches 'People And Places'
Don't miss the reception for a new art show at Lawler House Gallery in downtown Suisun, complete with an auction and live music.
More than 50 pieces of original art will be on display at the in downtown Suisun City, with an opening reception scheduled for Saturday 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Amber Gougis, an R&B singer who plays acoustic guitar, will be on hand to entertain guests on the Lawler House patio, said Ken Chew, Lawler House Manager. See her website to preview her songs. There will also be appetizers and wine.
"It's the biggest show we've put on so far," Chew said of People and Places.

The themes for the year are chosen by a committee of three people, who solicit ideas from the Lawler House membership. In October, the theme will be "101 Little Things."
The show was hung by artist Janet Barnes, who has her own piece in the display.

Lawler House Gallery is open normally from noon-4 p.m. Friday- Sunday. The gallery also recently changed its items in the gift shop, which carries artistic goods at lower prices than the gallery.

Lawler House is located at 718 Main Street, Suite 101 in Suisun City, right next to Harbor Theatre and the Harbor Square building.
