Police: High-Risk Sex Offender Has Left Fairfield
Fairfield police said Wednesday a high-risk registered sex offender is no longer living in Fairfield.

FAIRFIELD - Fairfield police said Wednesday a high-risk registered sex offender is no longer living in Fairfield.
George Edward Shockley, 49, had been living in the 2000 block of Clay Bank Road.
Police said if he moves back to Fairfield the public will be informed.

Shockley was convicted in 1990 of annoying or molesting children under 18 and in 1993 for lewd acts with a child under 14.
He is under supervised state parole for unrelated charges, police said.

Shockley is required to register as a sex offender with Fairfield police every year and when he changes residences.
